If you want to include spreads from your book into your portfolio as small thumbnails, and you dont have time to shoot them, here is a trick to make them look less flat and more dimensional like a book.
Brian Smith, Art Director at Visual Arts Press is looking for an intern for this summer, and possibly beyond, at the VA Press. This internship works mostly on print projects for the college, but there is some opportunity to do web work, and learn some light HTML and CSS.
It is a paid internship with flexible hours.

We do not want to see a finished bound book by April 16th, we will still give you feedback that requires you to make changes for the final review.
Please bring loose pages of every single portfolio piece from our class to the next class on April 16th.
If you are planning to professionally print your book, do it after the reviews and use the next three weeks by making your work amazing. There are plenty of self made binding techniques that allow you to insert a few pages a couple of days before the deadline.
